Dan Fogelberg entered the consciousness of American Rock as a Folk artist with his 1972 debut, Home Free. It led to success, which made subsequent albums from the new artist an easy task to undertake. Home Free was followed up with the ascendant Souvenirs, which housed the tracks, “Illinois”, “Changing Horses”, and “Part Of The Plan”. Before Dan Fogelberg succumbed to a sickness in 2007 at the age of 56, he had released 14 studio albums and two duo sets with Tim Weisberg. Souvenirs was certified double platinum six months after release.

Pre-orderable now via Impex Records, although a release date of “Winter 2024” was provided, a newly remastered 50th Anniversary edition of Souvenirs on vinyl is being made available. The album will be issued on 180g-weight black vinyl and will be pressed on only 3000 copies. Along with the updated sound quality, remastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering from original analog tapes, the album will arrive with an exclusive booklet that will contain photographs, interviews, and notes. You can order here.
