Public Image, LTD (PiL) formed after the breakup of Sex Pistols, releasing a well-received debut album called First Issue. It provided the first hit, “Public Image”. Since 1978, PiL has released 10 studio sets including Album (which produced “Rise”). Recently, PiL released a song called “Hawaii”, issued as a love song for his recently deceased wife of 40 years. It was intended to open the door for the upcoming new PiL album.
On August 11, John Lydon and the boys will release a new album, to be called End Of World. This new set will feature 12 new songs. End Of World features a newly released song, “Penge”, which can be heard below.
End Of World will be issued on CD, DD, and an exclusive Neon Green vinyl LP package.
