Stryper latched onto an evolving Christian market that began in earnest with the likes of Daniel Amos, Barnabas, Petra, and The Rez Band (The Resurrection Band). Their first album – The Yellow and Black Attack – was released in 1984, and gave full attention to the ground gaining hair metal genre. By 1985, they released their first Gold album. To date, 13 albums fill the Stryper catalog.
On October 21, Stryper returns with a new album – The Final Battle. With themes of the battles between God and the Devil, good and evil, the music of Stryper continue to charm those that have followed the band since their beginnings. The Final Battle will provide 11 new songs from the band.
The Final Battle will be released on CD, DD, and 2LP sets. For LP, there will be a 2LP standard black pressing, and a separately available 2LP yellow-color pressing.
