It’s been almost four years since Florence + The Machine have delivered an album. But that’s about to change with the previous releases of new songs. Her vocal power has been appreciated in many songs from the band since their 2009 classic, Lungs, which exploded out of the gate and has sold over nine million copies worldwide.
On May 13, Polydor Records will release the next album by Florence Welch, their fifth set. The new album is being called Dance Fever. It currently has three tracks from it out as pre-release singles, the third issued on March 10. Dance Fever will feature fourteen new songs that include “King”, “Heaven Is Here”, and “My Love”.
Dance Fever will be released on CD, Deluxe CD (with 92-page hard-back book), CS, DD, and several vinyl LP offerings that include Deluxe Edition 2LP color, standard black 2LP, and a 2LP Black vinyl Deluxe Box that packs in a 92-page hardbound book, 15 song cards, a two-sided poster, in a triple gatefold jacket, all tucked into a 12″ by 12″ lift-off box.
