Eric Clapton has been around for a long, long time and has enjoyed success in bands and solo works. Since the infancy of Rock, Eric Clapton has been bedrock. With over 20 studio solo albums in release, and so much more in Cream, Blind Faith, The Yardbirds, Bluesbreakers, and Derek & The Dominoes. That doesn’t count the live sets, collaborations, and other involvements.
On November 12, Eric Clapton adds to his bulging list a new album called The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown Sessions. As with many other bands, lockdown recordings are the new release thing. In this particular one, Eric Clapton delivers a mostly acoustic collection of 17 tracks, recorded in a country house in the UK with only a few in attendance. The result is a nice look back at some classic EC songs and some covers of respected songs.
The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown Sessions will be released in the US on CD/DVD, CD/BD, DD, a Target-exclusive CD only, and a limited edition Deluxe 2LP yellow vinyl package. A Deluxe Edition with CD/DVD/BD will insert a 40-page hardbound photo book.
The rest of the world will get DVD, BD, 4k UHD, CD, CD/BD, CD/DVD, 2LP Yellow 180g-weight vinyl LP, 2LP Black 180g-weight black vinyl, and the same Deluxe Edition as mentioned above for the US market.
