I’m always pleased to have a new Waterboys album grace my shelf. The previous title was Where The Action Is, released in 2019. The album was excellent. While nothing will match the output of the ’80s and ’90s, Scott’s lyrics and music craft is still excellent.
On August 21, Cooking Vinyl will release the 14th studio set by The Waterboys, this one called Good Luck, Seeker. It will feature 14 new tracks on the regular CD. A Deluxe 2CD Edition will feature a 2nd CD with 10 bonus alternate versions of the songs found on the release. Those alternates will be demos, instrumentals, and vocal tracks.
Good Luck, Seeker will be released on CD, 2CD Deluxe, DD, Cassette, standard black vinyl LP, and a limited edition splatter color vinyl LP. A trip to The Waterboys online store will provide bundle sets (here). Good Luck, Seeker is being announced with the single release of “My Wanderings In The Weary Land” (below). (It sounds fantastic!)
