Dark HorseWhite Horse is coming soon! Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion, MaYaN) has been teasing a new metal project for months via her Patreon page, while producer Joost van den Broek (everything) shared a pre-production photo in March featuring Bovio in the studio with her co-creators Jord Otto (ReVamp, VUUR) and Ruben Wijga (ReVamp). Very little information has been made public thus far, but now the project has both a Facebook page and an Instagram account displaying the band name and logo, along with the promise “coming soon.”

Recording is underway for the EP, with Ariën van Weesenbeek (Epica, MaYan) providing drums for what Bovio has consistently described as a “quite heavy” collection of music. The project name is taken from Plato’s Phaedrus, which describes the human soul as a charioteer struggling to successfully drive two horses of disparate passions.

The intriguing name and logo, plus the exquisite musical pedigree of the members, make Dark Horse White Horse a compelling new project. As anticipation builds, updates will arrive first to Bovio’s Patreon page, then follow to the official social media accounts for Dark Horse White Horse.
