kinks-the-mono-collectionIf you’ve come back to vinyl, and find yourself recollecting all those classics that have aged or disappeared over the decades, then it’s likely that short jump over to the newly released vinyl sets is an easy hop. Especially when you can get amazing new access to music that may never have been released or have long been out of print.

On November 18, a new vinyl LP Box is coming out that collects the first eight Kinks classics, and presenting them in original Mono. the new Box is being called The Mono Collection and will gather together The Kinks (1964), Kinda Kinks (1965), The Kink Kontroversy (1965), Face To Face (1966), Something Else by The Kinks (1967), The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society (1968), Arthur Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire (1968), and will also include Live At Kelvin Hall (1967), and a 2LP The Kinks comp set, The Kinks (or Black Album) (1970).

The Mono Collection will pack in a 48-page hardbound book with more photos, new interviews and liner notes, and details on each album along with collected memorabilia from the periods of these albums.
