Stevie Ray Vaughan Gets The Whole Works With 12CD Box In October

Stevie Ray Vaughan made a name for himself within the hot corridors of Texas. Before long, that fame was extended throughout the Us, then the entire world. Fans of his Texas-styled blues/rock guitar never missed a note from it. Unfortunately, Stevie Ray Vaughan perished in a helicopter accident after a concert at the Alpine Valley concert venue in Wisconsin. With only seven years to his career, he left us with a healthy does of blues-based Rock and Roll.

On October 28, Epic Records and Legacy Recordings will release a 12CD Box, Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble: The Complete Epic Recordings Collection. This set will contain all of the albums that Stevie Ray Vaughan recorded and released , as well as bonus sets that will compile rare and hard to find materials. One of the CDs is a first-time release of A Legend in the Making, originally a promo only set featuring a live set at Toronto’s El Mocambo club from 1983. Two of the CD swill be Archive collection sets.
