The Dave Clark Five ruled airwaves and television stages in the ’60s. Their catalog of 14 studio albums has served the fanbase well. For about five years, this band delivered a string of 40 singles for the UK market, and singles for the US market. Of those singles, 15 of them reached the Top 20 charts. Needless to say, The Dave Clark Five were a popular Rock ensemble helping to jumpstart the phenomena of Rock and Roll in its early infancy.

On October 28, BMG will release a vinyl singles clamshell box that will contain 20 singles in their original sleeves. This 10 vinyl singles box, to be known as All The Hits: The 7″ Collection, will be very limited and will only have 500 copies for the the US market. The songs are newly remastered.

  1. My view is the DC5 are long overdue for a “complete albums” box set. But if they think they can only sell 500 of these, I guess that explains why it has never happened.

    1. One would think that a complete remastered project would be fire. But maybe they’re testing the waters. The audience for this band is diminishing, age-wise. I’m actually surprised that there isn’t a wonderful tsunami of reissues from MANY bands by now. Once their audiences are cash-conscious or gone, so is the need for many reissues of past music.
