Previously mentioned by TAP via Steve Talia in his Talia’s Overflow Notes, Columbia and Legacy plan the release of The Complete Columbia Albums Collection featuring Bob Dylan.  It now has a set date of November 5.

ATO Records have Volume Three of the Garcia Live series, this one tapping into December 14-15, 1974 –  Northwest Tour.  Legion of Mary is slated for release on October 15.

Friday Music have several 180g vinyl LP reissues on the calendar for vinyl fans.  The titles include Truckin’ With Albert Collins (1970), King Creole (1958) by Elvis Presley, Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles! Live! (1972), and Santana’s Greatest Hits (1974). Truckin’ With Albert Collins, and King Creole are slated for November 12, Carlos Santana And Buddy Miles! Live! is planned for November 5, and Santana’s Greatest Hits is pegged for October 29.

Warner Brothers Records have Hybrid Theory (2000) by Linkin Park coming to vinyl LP on October 22.

Fans of David Lynch‘s unique film, Eraserhead, should be pleased that a CD reissue of the sold out soundtrack is coming back into existence via Sacred Bones Records.  It’s scheduled for October 22.

New West Records have several interesting upcoming releases that include Shaver’s Jewels (The Best Of Shaver), scheduled for November 5, and Here To Stay – Best of 2000-2012 featuring John Hiatt, scheduled for November 12.

You may remember the NYC band, Cults, who released a fun record back in 2010. The self-titled album performed rather well.  On October 15, ITNO Records will release the band’s second album, called Static, in CD, DD, and vinyl LP formats.

Just added is a Rhino/Parlophone reissue of True (1983) from Spandau Ballet.  It’s a low-cost reissue with no extras planned for October 22.

UDR will release the new Motörhead album, Aftershock, on October 22, their first since 2011’s The Wörld Is Yours.  It is planned for the standard CD issue as well as LP, and a Limited Edition CD Digipak.

Who’s excited about the upcoming 2CD expansion of Recorded Live from Ten Years After?  Because I’m sure excited.  It was a continually played set in my house.  And to think that I now get to hear the songs from some of those shows that didn’t make the original has me salivating.  Coming October 8.

Fuel Records have This Is The Beginning: The Artistic, Cobra, And U.S.A. Sessions featuring Buddy Guy on the calendar for issue on October 29 on CD.

Fuel Records will also release Texas Troubadours: The Rarities Collection for Mickey Gilley and Willie Nelson.  This set is scheduled for October 29.

Also on October 29, Fuel Records will release I’m The Fixer: The Best Of The U.S.A. Sessions featuring Willie Mabon.

Razor & Tie Records will release the new Mick Hucknall (Simply Red) solo album, American Soul, on October 29.  The album is Hucknall singing classic tracks from the past.  I’m very interested in hearing him do “Baby What You Want Me To Do”, the famed Jimmy Reed classic Blues song.

AAO Music have two John Coltrane albums planned on CD for October 29.  They include Live At The Half Note, and Traneing In.

AAO Music will also release Ultimate Legends featuring Ray Charles on CD scheduled for November 5.

Ipecac Records have Tres Cabrones by Melvins coming on November 5.

EMI will release an 8CD Box featuring BBC recordings from a highly underrated UK band, Be Bop Deluxe.  This collection will concentrate on the band’s BBC stuff from 1974-1978.  The set, Be Bop Deluxe At The BBC 1974-1978 is scheduled for October 8.

Fantasy Records plan the vinyl LP reissue of Dig (1951) from Sonny Rollins, and Miles Davis, planned for November 25.  Also on November 25, Fantasy gas scheduled a vinyl LP version of Brilliant Corners (1956) by Thelonius Monk. Bohemian Jazz has never been so cool!  I’m serious!

Wind-Up Records will release a 2CD, 27-track collection of Seether tracks compiled from their albums from 2002 through 2013.  In addition to the familiar tracks, there are three new songs, and a small batch of demos and b-sides.  Seether: 2002-2013 is planned for October 29.

Legacy and Columbia reinstates an out of print album from the Roy Orbison catalog, In Dreams: Greatest Hits, on September 17.  This collection features 19 Roy Orbison tracks re-recorded by Orbison. In case you didn’t know.

Nuclear Blast America have Dark Roots Of Thrash by Testament coming on October 15.

And finally, The Orchard label will reissue a rarity Live set featuring both The Black Crowes and Jimmy Page, all on vinyl LP.  The 3LP set, Live At The Greek, is slated for October  22.
